2007- The Advance Auto Parts Metal Monster made its final appearance in 2007, with the body being laid out in front of the truck for the pit party, so that the truck's internals could be looked at.

The truck had a quiet appearance this year, being used in the pit party, with Bryan Winston acting as the driver signing autographs. 2006- The truck returned in 2006, this time being run on Bryan Winston/ Bobby Zee's Monster Mutt chassis (which had also run as Hot Wheels earlier in the season). Come See El Diablo at Advance Auto Parts in Austin, TX Thursday, Augfrom 2-6pm.After this event, it ran as Bulldozer for a few shows, before being converted into the first Taz truck. The Advance Auto Parts Metal Monster was also brought into the stadium for an exhibition pass during the practice passes for the event. Driving Experience alongside Inferno, where Wendy Delaro and Mike Paris, both representatives from Advance Auto Parts, were given the opportunity to drive them in an exhibition setting. While used as a display truck for the pit party, it was also used as a truck for the V.I.P. 2005- The Advance Auto Parts Metal Monster returned the next year at the Monster Jam World Finals 6, running on the same chassis (Although at this point, it was running as Jason Childress' Bulldozer).This chassis went on to become Bulldozer in 2005. Later that night, the chassis had the Metal Monster body taken off, and replaced with a Blue Thunder body, which ran in the encore under Tony Farrell.
2004- The truck made its official debut at the Monster Jam World Finals 5 pit party, displaying on Lonny Childress' High Roller chassis.This in turn, eventually culminated into the true successor to the truck, the Advance Auto Parts Grinder, which debuted in late 2009, and competed until 2013. The truck, spiritually, continued on after 2007, with Advance Auto Parts sponsoring El Toro Loco at both the 20 World Finals, continuing the trend of an Advance Auto Parts truck at the World Finals.
